BarkWatch uses location to show nearby alerts and help place reports. You can also place a report manually on the map without sharing live location.
Public alerts focus on where an encounter was reported, what happened, and how recently the community checked it. They do not show personal identity.
Reports may remain stored after they leave the live map so repeated areas can be used for historical route awareness.
Reports should be accurate, calm, and respectful. BarkWatch is for route awareness and safety, not blaming dogs, owners, shepherds, villages, or communities.
